Spinal abscess in not so uncommon condition when you feel severe back pain. It is more common in people who are immunocompromised . In India tuberculosis have high possibility to spread in spine. Patient will feel difficulty in walking due to paralysis and back pain at the same time . They should get evaluated with MRI at that region . Patient may have heart vegetation . Check with predisposing factors in table . Treatment for the spinal abscess involve urgent abscess removal to prevent future permanent paralysis.
